oh, the places you'll go!..
..So, the last time I wrote here was a while ago. I suppose I should update a little bit.
In January we planted a sector in San Bernardino!
Then my best friend got married in Arizona!
Such a beautiful bride inside and out.
...and now..
Välkommen till Sverige!
On Wednesday, I arrived to Sweden. Woah.
Seeing as how I've moved frequently, when I got off the plane it really doesn't feel like I've gone very far. I fit in pretty well; apparently I look Swedish because some people will casually speak to me and when I say I don't understand they look pretty shocked. ..Because my lack of Swedish, I've had quite my share of bathroom experiences. Today, I set off an alarm in the bathroom! I couldn't figure out how to lock the door so I saw a red button and instinctively thought it meant 'lock'..nope, it meant emergency. Luckily today was my first day of class to learn Swedish; hoping to be spared of anymore bathroom blunders ;)
The church here is awesome; we are a small group of about 10 people, but its a very powerful bunch of people! You know what happens when you go somewhere with a small group though- you learn a lot about yourself. I know that I'm already learning of so many different 'opportunities' in my character that I get to work on (so far a lot of humility in relying on others for help).
I'm excited to go on some adventures to discover more soon! Stockholm sorta reminds me of a European version of San Francisco. There's awesome public transportation--new versions of the Muni and Bart.
Everything here is so pretty!
Welp, I'll be sure to update more in depth now that I'm somewhat caught up in what's been going on lately.

Ashley.

With these amazing people:
San Bernardino is awesome. I'm so grateful for all that God did these past 3 months; we witnessed 10 baptisms in that time! The SB team is an amazing group of people and I couldn't have asked for anything more :) ..sending hugs from afar <3 <3
