6 in 1; a tribute to my roomies.

It's always better when we're together

Can I be real? I was not thrilled at the thought of moving from my own apartment into a one bedroom apartment with 4 (now 5) other girls. Now I can't see myself belonging anywhere else.

God knows exactly what you need, seriously.

Allow me to introduce you to my roomies:

                                                                                         First there is Sharmayne:
She is driven and hardworking, yet underneath it all she still has a youth filled heart that nearly makes it impossible to be upset with in any manner. While she's great at being a friend on the spot, she also knows how to dig deep into the heart. I'ts been fun watching her learn about her emotions and the areas she's fought to be transformed in. Her heart has taught me what it looks like to follow a leader with complete loyalty, trust and imitation. Her friendship has helped me tremendously here in SF.

Then there is Delaney: (far left)
As she figures out this thing called adulthood, she is completely committed to doing whatever she can to make things awesome. She is amazing at reaffirming how grateful she is when you do something for her, and she means it. Delaney is a creative writing major, so deep down you know she's got something brewing in her imagination. She's awesome at videos and editing, but you would never catch her boasting about it. She brings me back to what it was like to be 19 and the fun of learning things for the first time.

              Definitely can't leave out Tahlia!
Tahlia is young and vivacious; she definitely carries a smile and contagious laugh everywhere she goes. Lately, I've been learning that behind the smiles there is a lot more. She is a fighter and is being transformed into a woman with even deeper conviction. I know that Tahlia is down for anything fun and pushes me to enjoy the moment. I'm privileged to be able to be a part of this stage of her life. I know she is going to do great things, not just because she is talented, but because she loves greatly.

                     Oh, Sandra:
She is unarguably the 'baby' of this family, but she is blooming into a responsible woman with solid conviction. She is someone that has entrusted her heart to me so quickly. Her simplistic trust and innocence is refreshing; I know that her love has really softened my heart and made me that much more grateful. She may seem sweet on the outside, but is completely fierce when given the opportunity to perform. She has really shown me how to love without skepticism.

  Last, but not least, Ingrid:
Ingrid is the latest addition to the household, but already making an impact. She is one of the 'realest' sisters; as she is learning to combine that honesty with her sincere love, the level of effectiveness will be limitless. Ingrid is someone who gives her all to the tasks put in front of her--there's no room for excuses in her work ethic. She really perseveres and holds tight to wanting to make sure to do the right thing. Through her, I've definitely been inspired to be more confident and appreciative of what's been given to me.

In the past 6 years, I've lived many places (10 households and 3 states). This household is at the top of the list for the most diverse, but ironically I feel completely at home.

Thanks for everything roomies,
-Ashley

Is it enough?
